About Jonathan

Jonathan graduated as a chiropractor in 1988 following a five-year course of study at RMIT University, and has practiced in numerous settings in Victoria and New South Wales since that time. At one stage, Jonathan was chiropractor to the Newcastle Nights Rugby League team, and personal chiropractor to many elite athletes, including Commonwealth Games medal holders.

Whilst continuing in his chiropractic career, Jonathan began studying psychology, graduating with first class honours in 2009. Since that time, Jonathan has worked in community settings, government organisations, and private psychology practice, gaining extensive experience with an exceptionally diverse client base.

Jonathan has had research published in the US-based Journal of Manipulative Physiological Therapeutics which has since been cited in numerous research articles around the world. In addition, Jonathan has conducted psychological research into the experiences of working single fathers.

Jonathan has lived and worked the majority of his life on the Mornington Peninsula, however he has recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland after completing a 14-month trip around Australia. He is married with four children and two stepchildren, all of whom are now young adults. His interests include family life, bushwalking, mountain biking, four-wheel-driving, caravanning, music, and personal development. In addition to the knowledge acquired via an extensive academic history, Jonathan has had to navigate his way through a number of real-world challenges similar to those faced by many of his clients. This has helped Jonathan develop a level of insight, compassion, and empathy that is difficult to achieve through textbooks alone.
